Description
James Suckling – 92 points
This is a very well crafted and refined cab blend with a medium to full body, round and creamy tannins and a delicious finish. Give this time to soften but already polished and delicious.

Made with the addition of 14% Petit Verdot, 4% Malbec and 4% Syrah, the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Double Canyon Vineyard opens to aromas of crème de cassis, blackberry jus, plum reduction with elements of cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla and hints of roasted coconut husk. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is balanced, offering cedar and cigar spice flavors before dusty tannins sway across the mid-palate. The wine concludes with a complex and lingering finish. The wine spent a year and a half in 65% new oak, primarily French with 10% new American oak.
