Description
The 2017 Triple C is a blend of 70% Cabernet Franc, 23% Cabernet Sauvignon and 7% Carménère from Alto Jahuel, Maipo, aged for 18 months in French barrels, half of them new. Maroon in the glass. The fragrant, pyrazine-inflected aromas also include oak, black currant and blueberry with hints of mint and white pepper. Indulgent on the palate, it presents firm tannins and good volume very much in the layered Chilean Bordeaux red style.
