Description
Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate
Leflaive’s 2015 Bourgogne Blanc is excellent and one of the finest generic bottlings to be found in the Côte de Beaune this year, offering up a note of fresh lemon, nutmeg and chamomile that is already quite expressive. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, sappy and ample, with impressive dimension and concentration for its level and a long, controlled finish. The balance here is excellent, and this outpaces plenty of villages level white Burgundies in this vintage.
