Winery Notes
The origins of this Cru date back to the 18th century. It was first mentioned in the Féret guide book of 1929, where you could read the position of the vineyard. In 1932, the Chambers of Commerce of Bordeaux and of Agriculture of Gironde ranked is as a Cru Bourgeois.
In the 1940s, Monsieur Robert Peyronie (father of current owner) became the managing director of the Château Tour du Roc Millon which appeared in the « Guide des Grands Vins de Bordeaux » in 1945 as belonging to the vineyards of the Peyronie family.
The Château Tour du Roc Milon vineyard is situated in Pauillac. With a 5 hectares area, the average age of its vines ranges from 50 to 60 years old. This vineyard offers a remarkable wine by its delicacy and its long storage in bottles
