An indomitable vintage of Pesquera, delicious and wild: This wine’s aromas are reminiscent of raw meat and earth. Right now, the tannins scratch like a cat sprawled out on its back, soft in the middle, but dangerous to approach too closely. And yet the wine has lovely fruit depths at its heart. Too young to drink now, but if you dare, try it with chuletón de Avila (a grilled ribeye) and papas fritas.
