Rating 95-97. The 2014 Paderewski Vineyard comes from a warm site located high up off of Peachy Canyon Road (I wasn’t able to get the exact blend but it’s normally a mix of Mourvèdre, Zinfandel, Petite Sirah, and Syrah, with a splash of Tempranillo). It offers sexy, full-bodied, broad, rounded and powerful notes of candy corn, black raspberry, chocolate and chalky minerality. The 2014s in general show concentrated, rich profiles as well as broad, supple tannins, and this has both in spades.
